We are excited to introduce the newest member of our Systems Team Jo Shaw. Jo joined us at the end of last year, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles in CCTV distribution and security installations.
Jo describes her new position as varied and interesting, with no two days being the same. Her responsibilities are so important to supporting our daily operations in systems, and making sure everything runs smoothly, including:
- Booking calls and organising diary appointments for our engineers
- Managing deliveries and purchase orders
- Proactive management and reporting for the remote monitoring station to ensure customers are kept informed of any updates with their system
- Carrying out comprehensive analysis of our monitoring station’s reporting data
- Dealing with customer queries for any faults and bookings
Jo believes her “bubbly nature” and her extensive experience with CCTV systems will help her to do her best in this newly created role. She has already felt at home with her friendly, supportive team, which she describes as being "like a little family".
When she isn’t busy at work, Jo enjoys staying active at the gym or taking local walks and enjoying lunch out with her husband.
Jo proudly shared an interesting fact about herself: she is an identical twin. She once took part in a BBC documentary, where she and her twin achieved a 90% match across fingerprints, dental records, voice recognition, and skills assessments. They also participated in a charity tandem bike ride.
Recently, Jo became a proud "Nana" to her first grandchild Matilda-Rose and is looking forward to plenty of babysitting!
